whats the picture quality like? does it play region 1 dvds and tricky dvds ok? has it got RGB output in the scart? is there a way to switch macrovision off apart from adding a circuit to remove it? cheers .

Did you ever get a reply to this question as i have pruchased one of the said machines and have been trying to get it to play rewritable cds but to no avail. Does it do it or not?
