Page 1 of DVD Player Engineers page

I have a Bush 2004/A, DVD, Soft E-XQ-M.
I assume it has an Engineers page for changing region settings, Macrovision etc. If so does anyone know how to access this page. I have tried the most common ones I have seen on the net but they dont seenm to work.

Try this, It might work........


1. Open player tray
2. Press 7, 7, SELECT/ENTER on the remote control.
3. You should be in the Engineers Menu.
4. Look under COUNTRY CODE and change the value to whatever number region you want, or choose 13 for region-free.
5. Press PLAY to exit the menu then close the player tray.
6. Macrovision can also be disabled in this hidden menu on the second page to 2.

Sorry doesnt work does anyone else know of a hack??

Here is the hack in its entirity.As you can see you must press the Enter button between the two 7`s......Converting the player to multi-region:

Press the Open button on your remote control to open the tray.

Press the 7 button on your remote control.

Press the Enter button on your remote control.

Press the 7 button again on your remote control.

You will now enter the hidden setup page, and can change the player to any Region or set it to Region Free by entering 13 as the country code. You can also disable Macrovision from this menu.

You can also try this if the above fails:

Press Open on the Remote Control

Press 2, 0, 0 and 1

The player should now be in Multi-Region mode

If you have the "A" revision of this player try:

Open the tray type in and from the Remote key in 33088

Then press 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2 etc. Use 0 for all Regions

Close tray to complete.Let me know on this page if it works as you have got me intrigued!!!

Ive tried this but it doesnt work. the player is region free out of the box but the macrovision is there unfortunately. Are there any firmware upgrades etc?

Just tried that and it works vety well indeed. I used the 33088 + 0 for the multi region. Thanks for your help.
