Ive tried this but it doesnt work. the player is region free out of the box but the macrovision is there unfortunately. Are there any firmware upgrades etc?

I have the same player. Can you play R1 discs easily?. Did the remote hack work?. I know everything else works, its a great little player!! Mine only cost £200 for the full dvd player and speaker surround system, (not rubbing it in!) which looks great too. even my mum can work it!! i would recommend it to anyone as a very cheap full pack!!

its not the type of VCD its the sound settings. I had the same problem jumping and bad sound. If you go into the player sound settings and make sure the sound is not set on 5.1CH, if it is, change it to stereo it should play alot smoother (hope this helps). I have burned VCD on all media types cdrw / cdr brands including no-named discs they all work fine on my bush 2004

I`ve tried the region hacks described in the Multi region hacks section on this site, doesn`t seem to work. Can I get into the hidden menu in the Bush DVD2004 as described in the hack, or does this only work for the Ariston player can anyone help??
