Hi, Try this, normally works for me.
UNIT MUST BE IN `STOP` MODE, NO DISK IN THE TRAY AND
NO PICTURES FROM ANY CHANELS SHOWING ON THE SCREEN
PRESS PLAY 159 064 135 124 255 PLAY
TRY A DIFFERENT REGION DISK
THEN SHUT DOWN DVDR AND POWER BACK UP
