RE: Region Hack For Sanyo DVD SL-40

Sorry Kerntastic, i don`t send to gmail accounts since they all got hacked.
I did it yetserday and got more spammed to kingdom come.

If you set up a yahoo or hotmail account, i`ll send it to that.

I`m sorry to be a pain but i`ve had 300 spam e-mails today alone, all from gmail accounts.

RE: Philips DVDR3300H Multi-region hack required

Hi, Try this, normally works for me.

UNIT MUST BE IN `STOP` MODE, NO DISK IN THE TRAY AND
NO PICTURES FROM ANY CHANELS SHOWING ON THE SCREEN

PRESS PLAY 159 064 135 124 255 PLAY

TRY A DIFFERENT REGION DISK

THEN SHUT DOWN DVDR AND POWER BACK UP

RE: i need fimware for my SL20

Which version is it (UK or UK2)?, should say on the lable on the side of the machine, close to the bar code.

I should have both versions.
If you E-mail me your e-mail address I`ll send it on, IF you are sure of what you are doing.
You risk writing your machine off if it goes wrong.

RE: DVD HACK

The only Sanyo units that can be remote hacked are the HV-DX3E and the SX series.
The DX3 is made by Deawoo and the SX units are Alba.

ALL genuine Sanyo machines need a firmware disk.

I have some of them but not all.

RE: hack for phillips dvd recorder880

No it shouldn`t need re-doing.

What you`ve done is basically altered the firmware so it should be perminent.

Glad it worked :D

RE: hack for phillips dvd recorder880

I don`t know the code for it, I know it`s in the instruction book for the remote.
There`s a list of them for philips.

If you don`t have the book you can get the manual FREE from one4all`s web site.

RE: Region Hack For Sanyo DVD SL-40

If you e-mail or PM me your e-mail address I`ll send them to ya.

DON`T post your e-mail address onto any forum as you don`t know what you`ll get sent to you.

RE: Region Hack For Sanyo DVD SL-40

This Machine requires a firmware upgrade via CD to make this region free like most Sanyo Machines.

I should have a disk laying around somewhere, I sould be able to e-mail the files to you if you want (If I can find the disk) :/

RE: hack for phillips dvd recorder880

Hi KBL,

To do the hack you need a one4all remote.
Program the DVD button with the Philips DVD code, then follow the instructions below.

CHANGE REMOTE FUNCTION IN MENU
FROM DVD RECORDER TO PLAYER (using supplied remote).
PRESS MAGIC 085 (On one4all remote).
You should see --------- on the display.
ENTER 121 212 005 255 THEN PRESS PLAY (using supplied remote), not all the numbers will show up on the display.
CHECK PLAYBACK AND CHANGE REMOTE FUNCTION BACK (using supplied remote).

You do NOT have to pay to hack this machine, this information came direct from Philips.

Good luck

RE: hack for phillips dvd recorder880

Hi,

Just follow Hackeroonie`s link, it works fine.

You don`t need to pay, all you need to do is follow the instructions.

Done mine fine a few years ago.

RE: pleaseeeeee can u help phillips pet710/05

You could try these, one is for the PET 700 and one is the PET 800

PET700
OPEN TRAY DOOR
PRESS SET UP
SELECT PREFERENCES
PRESS 2,5,2,3,1,5
PRESS LEFT
PRESS DOWN
PRESS 0 WHEN SCREEN SHOWS REGION CODE
PRESS SETUP TO EXIT

PET 800
SAME AS PET 700 EXCEPT STEP 4. CHANGE NUMBER 2,1,2,2,2,5

One may work.

Could you let us know if one of them does

Problem with Sanyo DVDR-V100e

Hi,

Has anyone else had this fault with a Sanyo DVDR-V100E VCR/DVD recorder?

The fault is that sometimes it won`t detect a disk or it will record onto DVD for a short time then stop or it will record on DVD ok but then corrupts the disk when it tried to create a menu.

Anyone know if there is a software update for this? :/

Thanks.

Sanyo DVD SL20

Philips DVD740VR

Hi,

Anyone know how to make the Philips DVD740VR (Made by Funai) region free using the remote?

The only way I`ve found so far is a hardware hack and costs more that the machine is worth.

Thanks in advance
