toshiba 2109 , press memory key brings up small box, select 1 you can now watch region 1 films

rce hack for chipped/programmed toshiba players
insert disk,wait for world map to appear press memory on remote press 01 on remote press play on remote wait for movie to start press clear on remote enjoy the movie

When I insert the Region 1 disk all I get is an error message over a blue screen saying that there is a disk reading error???
I do not get a world map.
Does my DVD player have to have had something done to it before I try this??

if you did not get the machine modified/chipped when you purchased the player it has then to be chipped/programmed

ALL Toshiba players need to be chipped or reprogrammed by a dealer for auto region .... there are NO REMOTE REGION HACKS
