Page 1 of Liteon DD-A110

I see Tescos are now selling Liteon DD-A110 DVD recorders for £67.99.

Before I buy one though can anyone confirm if the Liteon 5005 multiregion hack works with this machine?

i used the 2960 hack for my DD-A100X and worked a treat

Thanks but I already knew it worked with the DD-A100X.

The same hack works with a wide range of Liteon models but with this being a new model I wanted to find out for sure before I buy in case Liteon have changed their codes.

Has anyone bought one of these yet that can try it out?

I can confirm that this works no problems yet. Just got mine from tesco yesterday this is a great machine and well worth the money. i hope this is of some help to you.

do you know wether the discs are then readable by your pc as mine never are after being finalised in my panny dmre50.

you have to go into utilities to finalise the disc, it will be in a dvd-vr format, which may have to be converted to mpeg-2 for some dvd players

Yes it works. I bought the Liteon DD-A110 from Tesco last night and tried the hack this morning. No problems.

Anyone know if there are any firmware updates like those for the 5005
