Can anyone tell me if the player is DTS. I am sure i have read in a magazine that it is capable of handling DTS films although the logo is not on the front of the machine.

Yep, it outputs DTS fine. The last version of the 750 even had the light in it, but earlier ones didn`t even tho they still supported it.
