Page 1 of Phillips 622 Hack ?

Hi my friend who presumes I know about these things( I don`t) asked about a hack, I have read the Phillips 750 (RC6) and need to ask about the one4all,I have only got a 6530 which does not have a numerical keypad,what can I do with this model or do I need a better one4all.Can anything be done with the remote for the DVD ?sorry for asking what I feel are obvious questions to the forum.Thanx.(UK Nottingham)

ok.....you can only use the origianl remote to manually change regions up to 25 times....after which the player will be stuck in whatever region you last viewed......

The multi region code will not work with the original remote.....you have to generate a different type of infra-red commad (RC6)....

this can only be done with a ONEFORALL remote, a PALM PILOT, or a PHILIPS PRONTO.....it can also be used with certain homemade infra red devices.......

once its done...its done!..no changing no time limit and RCE proof!....you`ll need a ONEFORALL that is able to control DVDs and has the KEY MAGIC facility
