Page 1 of asda dvd

I bought the rowa dvd from asda and took it back because it kept freezing and had a real blocky picture.I have just bought the new one from asda which is exactly the same as the rowa but it plays mp3s it is called the pacific i have only had it for a few days but i can see no difference in the quality of the picture and sound than that of the rowa.Has any body else purchased this player and is there any
region hack for it.

i bought the rowa player and the new pacific player both from asda .i had no problems with either and the rowa copies dvd onto tape with no macrovision problems .you can try the wharfdale hack and the minato hack as these were supposed to work on rowa type players with no service port on the rear and no ntsc switch on the rear as the pacific player seems to be a rowa clone but without the above mentioned parts

where can u get the two formentioned hacks from?

i own the rowa dvd player, and ive had no trouble with it at all, plus my sisters bf bought one atthe same time, and hes had no trouble with it
