they play them by default....what seems to be the problem?

It reads it then says `no disc`. I`ve used the One 4 all hack for multi region & that is fine but music cdrs wont read (originals are fine!!)
I make the back ups with Nero or Clone

just a wild stab in the dark, (stating the bleeding obvious in other words) I`m guessing that you`re using CDR, not CD-RW & that you`ve finalized your session.
Okay, stop shouting I said it was a long shot!!!

well yet again the question of , why will my cdr`s not work ?
it is all down to the media u use only a handfull of brands work in dvd players ( laser wavelength & more )myself making audio cd`s and
converting dvd to vcd Verbatim/Mitsubishi make (and are the only ones that make) the dark blue type media (so called "Metal-Azo". In my experience, they are very good media. and work. never had one that dose not play in a dvd player yet ( ps £0.18p each )
