LG 3200E REGION HACK HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!!

I Have a lg 3200e region 2 i have used the remote hack as used in this forum but player says check disc region, could this now be down to firmware, the player was bought dec 2000 does it need firmware updated
and if i send it back what reason do i need to give. Please help dont know what to do now.

The firmware cannot be upgraded by the end user, since you need the LG JIG interface....you need to contact a reputable upgrader.
