I am thinking of buying this player, does anyone know if there is a hack for it before i buy.

There isn`t one.
You will need to buy it multi-region.

Here`s the hack, but i havent verified it myself:

open the tray
type 2403960
press enter to cycle to region 9
close the tray
turn the player off
turn it back on
