Page 1 of **FREE Samsung 511 Auto Region Chips**

We have just finished work on the Hitachi 305e Auto region mod chip ... the install instructions are in the link below ....

We believe the Samsung 511 to be an identical main board although we have yet to see one here ... in order to confirm that our chips are okay on these models we intend to give 3 away to users of this message board.

If you are a Samsung 511 owner with soldering experience and access to a region 1 disk to test with then simply leave your email addess as a reply to this message and we will contact you to arrange you free chip ... the first 3 email addresses left here will get the 3 chips ....

All we ask is that you post your results here on the message board after you have fitted the chip .....

Steve I am suprised you had to create a chip for the Hitachi 305, to make it permanent Multi-region, The reason I say this is the Hack on my Hitachi 505 is software.

HITACHI 505 ROCKS!

Hitachi 305 isnt really a hitachi but a Samsung 511 clone by all accounts .. this is why it is not firmware upgradeable ...

I was told that the Hitachi DV-305U is really a Samsung DVD-611 clone.

So is it a DVD-511 or a DVD-611?
