So that I can work out who to inform about region hacks for this player (if one is possible), reply to this thread. One of the regular subscribers to this site is researching which base player the `525 is cloned from, using some screen shots I supplied him with.
Any news I receive I will distribute accordingly.

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. BTW, can anyone tell me which model of remote was supplied with this system. Mine came with the rc-zas10 but I dont think its right.

That remote is definately different to the one I`ve had (I had a system that got sent back) and the one I have now. Both remotes were the same. It may be worth contacting Jimbo thru` his site www.choosefirst.co.uk to see if this is the remote that ships with the `370 dvd. If it is you could try the remote hack for the 370. let us know if this works...
Otherwise contact your supplier.

Tried the 370 hack already,no luck.The remote has buttons for the tape deck and tuner,just no DVD,so I doubt its the 370 remote. What is the model code on the remote you got? I might see if I can order it off Aiwa.
