Page 1 of Tevion MD 80032 DVD Player/Recorder Multi Region Hack Required Please

8) Does anyone have the procedure for a Multi Region hack for the above? I think this model is quite new, but have seen mobs of people buying them up in Aldis (£119.99). I tried some of the popular Medion/Tevion Hacks but nothing happened.

The Tevion "Aldi" DVD recorder can be changed to receive all zones by using the control!

Menu...1...6...7...Sound/off

or :-

2...1...6...7...then in menu 0

Hi Martin and thanks for the hack for Aldi Tevion 80032.

I cannot get it to work with my remote (the one that came with the recorder)
is there other preparation that has to be done before you use this.

The is no `sound/off` button...do you mean `mute`?

`menu` does not do anything.

I think the hack mentioned above relates to a completely different model.

There is no remote hack for the Sampo DVE-R6 series of decks, of which the Relisys RDVR250 and Tevion MD80032 are both OEM versions. At Area 450 we know for certain that it needs a firmware upgrade, but there is no way of getting the file - Medion will not release such an upgrade, sadly...

For the uk version tevion MD80032
first make sure the disk tray is closed and empty
turn the player on
press the ANGLE button
press 1 then 2 then 3 then 4
press SOURCE
press 0
OPEN then CLOSE the disc tray
THATS IT have fun 8)
