Just had to telephone Bush as my BTV663DVD is playing up. The end of the ansaphone message said "Thank you for calling ALBA" so now I`m wondering if there is a similar model in the Alba range that may have the hack for the above!!!!!!

Sorry, but no! The VCR/DVD unit in these sets is exactly the same as the one that is used in the Bush DVHS1 standalone DVD/VCR recorder, which, so far, is unhackable.
