Hello. I`m new to this DVD lark. I`ve just bought a Wharfedale DVD750 and tried to record to video. Unfortunately, I wasn`t able to with color distortion and the picture being very dark. Is there some kind of hack I can use to get around this problem? Thanks for your help.

Sadly you cannot succesfully record from the Wharfedale because there is no way of disabling the Macrovision copy protection. At least this is what Wharfedale tell me in their reply to my email.

Have you tried the mutliregion hack? It may disable the macrovision as well.
