Page 1 of Hack Needed for BUSH DVD 2039 PLEASE!!!

Has anyone cracked the 2039 yet? The hacks for the 2037 and the 2020 series don`t work on it.

Please help!!!

This unit should be multi region straight out of the box

I can only assume this is some sort of troll, if it was multi-region out of the box people wouldn`t be asking for hacks... Has anyone come across one yet ?

Sorry I never got back to you sooner, but this DVD player is not mine - I am trying to help out a friend, and they had a death in the family, so I had to leave it alone for a while. This machine definitely is NOT multi-region. Tried the dodgy hack someone else has posted in this forum for the 2038, but that doesn`t seem to work.

Has anyone sussed this machine yet? Logic says it should be hackable. All the others have been. But I must admit I do get fed up with people who just go out and buy a machine and THEN ask me to hack it. I wish they would ask me to check whether I can FIRST, then buy!

f you are still after a hack for the Bush dvd 2039, then try this.
1) POWER ON THE DVD PLAYER
2) PRESS THE OPEN/CLOSE BUTTON ONCE ON THE REMOTE
3) PRESS THE PROG BUTTON ONCE ON THE REMOTE
4) PRESS ENTER 3 TIMES ON THE REMOTE
5) USE THE UP/DOWN ARROWS AND SELECT REGION 0
6) PRESS THE STOP BUTTON UNTIL IT SAYS REGION SET TO 0, TO CONFIRM ON YOUR REMOTE.
THIS DVD PLAYER IS THE SAME AS THE ALBA DVD59.

IT ACTUALLY WORKS, GO ON MY SON.

Has anyone verified the hack posted above?

I have a DVD2039 and was wondering if it could be hacked to play VCDs, like the 2037.

i just bought bush dvd2039 tried unlocking it with the methods suggested earlier and changed it to region 0 but my vcds and avi files on cd wont work. they work on my computer but not on the dvd player. :( any other suggestions

I wonder if you have received a hack yet. I have the same problem
