Could anybody help me with the remote hack for this model?
I have already tried the hack, but does`nt seem to work!!!

You have to get the timing of the presses just right, it took me a couple of goes.

Now the bad news. I read on the web that if it was made after November last year, then the secret/service menu has been removed. I got mine from Tempo but had to take an ex display one to make sure it was old enough - got it home - sweet as a nut. multi region and "video friendly" Good Luck!

Thanks for replying to my message!! I had another go with it last nite and i think it has worked! I used the hack for the earlier firmware versions, cos the later version did`nt work, and a secret menu appeared. I scrolled down to the country and i could select what region i wanted it on, so i put it on bypass. Is this correct cos im not sure???? i hav`nt got any region 1 discs yet so i can`t try it out to see if it works!!! In the hack it says that bypass is region free??? So thats what i put it on!!! I don`t know, im new to this game.
Anyway, thanks for replying, and i would be grateful if you could answer any of my queries........ as i said, i hav`nt got a clue about these things yet!!!

You can also upgrade this player`s firmware to fix bugs and disable macrovision.
