Why won`t this hack work on any other Pioneer DVD player? I have a Pioneer 525 that is just waiting to be made multi-regional via its remote. Any suggestions?

Someone has a hack posted for the Pioneer 505 later in these postings.I am going to try it on my 515.Maybe that one will work in the 525. Regards. Tony Daly.

I met a dealer last Saturday who sells the Pioneer 530 and he can make them multi region by changing the firmware with a special program in his laptop.He charges IR£200 for the player and IR£50 for the firmware change.I have also seen a site that can do the same thing.According to this site,this is a new development.
