Just hacked my free vodaphone dvd. open drawer place dvd in tray leave open. Press1, 3, 6, 9, left, left, left, right then region no (9 for multiregion) then play. If it dosent work or you want to change regions press clear on the remote before entering the numbers. Good luck

I`ve tried this without success and couldn`t get into the service menu.
When you say Quote: left, left, left, right, are you using the < (left) and > (right) directional arrows on the remote? Sorry if I`m being a bit thick here!

1.Open the tray and place DVD (DO NOT CLOSE) 2. Press 1, 3, 6, 9, LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, <REGION>, PLAY (where REGION = 1 (for region 1), 2 (for region 2) etc, 9 (for multiregion)
If you select key "0" as the region then player will not play any region encoded disc, a mistake I made when looking for hack.
Should you wish to play a RCE encoded DVD, you will need to specify the particular region, it wont play on multiregion setting (9)
Just did 10 minutes ago, it works!!

I tried the hack this evening and it works for me. The left, left left, right bit is indeed the direction arrows. The only thing was that 9 doesn`t make it multi-region on my player, but I can live with this. I tried it on a region 1 dvd of `Vanilla Sky` and then had to do the hack again to get back to region 2 discs.
