Are there any DVD player that is unhackable??
Becoz i saw there is such a huge amount of hack avalible that just makes me thought nearly all DVD player are Hackable. And if there is some that can`t be hacked. What are the pencetage??
Becoz i want to get a new phone and Vodafone seems to give away free DVD players. I am just wondering if it could be hackable...

sonys cannot be hacked, panasonic also, sharp as well.

Not chipped for the latest models from the mainstream manufacturers such as sony. panasonic and toshiba which can be made multiregion through a special remote control or in some cases a cd-r disk that updates the firmware ( these buggers are the biggest hypocrites since they supply this technology to dealers through the back door while denying its existence to any consumer seeking assistance throught helplines) .
It would be no bad thing if sites such as this encouraged a boycot of these companys until they mended their ways.

It`s best done by a friendly dealer. Look for a small independent and ask them nicely though expect to pay £20.
