Need Region & Macro Hack for Toshiba SD-330E, If can`t get macro then Region will do.

To make your player multiregion (not macrovision free i`m afraid)
Go here - sd220e.chez.tiscali.fr/
Download the file and burn to cd-r with the instructions provided.
This hack works by "flashing" the firmware of your player, according to input by others it will work with the SD-330E, although i cannot verify this.
Flashing your firmware is done at your own risk.

By the way the firmway for the sd220 works on the sd330E, and if anyone get colour problems on their NTSC R1 disks like I did put your DVD scart in AV1 (Scart One) as this it seems is the only one that supports RGB, cause The other two do not and only support svideo which does not display the coulours of a NTSC disks correctly, you get a greeny picture.

Hi There i hope somebody checks back onto this thread, ive gone to the above mentioned site and downloaded the file and burned it onto cd and put it in my player but after about 10 secs it just says disc error check disc then the tray opens, am i doing something wrong?

Some people are saying the file from the French site is corrupted!!! But i cannot verify this. I have found what is said to be an uncorrupted file and put it on my site bingbong
Click on "Toshiba Firmware Upgrade", instructions are included with the file.
Please note, i have not tested this and upgrading your firmware is done at your own risk.

£80 region free from Amazon - why bother with all this burning cd hassle?
