Does anyone have a definite answer yet as to whether the above players remote hack is limited to 28 times.

I know you can buy the MOD, but not being an expert solderer (it that a real word) I am a bit worried to try this.

I have Two region 1 discs on the way to me but do not want to buy anymore until I am sure that the hack is unlimited.

C`mon guys, some brave soul must have changed their Minato more that 28 times!!

John I`ve changed it a few times but just give it a go yourself if it
stops working take it back to Tesco and they will swap it this is
an undocumented feature, nowhere in the manual does it tell you
not to enter these key sequences and as long as its under
guarentee they should swap it or fix it. All the more reason to get
it over and done with while they still have some in stock.
I don`t know where you`ve picked up this rumour from but I could
quite easily say yeh I`ve done it more than 28 times and its fine
and sit back and wait for you to verify it for me.Lets start another
one it actually varies from machine to machine.
