my (chipped) Tosh dont wanna know when it comes to RCE discs (Patriot/Hollow Man). Should I put a sledgehammer to it?!! please help!

you can still play the RCE DVD`s:

1. Put Patriot disc and let it play until the "Cannot play" message comes up
2. Press "Memory"
3. Highlight "T" and press "1"
4. Highlight "C" and enter "1"
5. Press "Play"
6. Press "Clear" (this clears the memory when playing so the whole disc
plays)

a other way is to set the default regioncode of your player to region1, then you`ll be able to use all region 1 RCE DVD`s as well.

We at www.chiptech.de/dvd/ can do this.
But better wait for the real toshiba regionswitch modifications are ready to sell. (hopefully at february)
