I`ve recently bought a Region 2 player at a decent price, I`ve heard that there is a remote hack for it from various sources on the net.
Its is the power on, 3141591 in 3 seconds one...
Does it definetly work?

I am not sure if that one works, but iam currently seeking a hack for the LG 3200E, but i have also heard alot of talk of that particular hack you are talking about. give it a go. see what happens. if it doesn`t work take it back.
if you hear of anything for the 3200e please let me know.

Apparently thats only for LG models sourced from Richer Sounds.
Yes I think this hack is not really a hack but the operating instructions for modified players to switch regions ....

It is true that the code above is ONLY for modified machines from Liverpool`s Richer Sounds.
As I have the LG and it DOES NOT work.......
Anyway, I sold it now and bought a Region Free from the box BUSH DVD 2009 lol.

The 314159 hack only works for those machines that have been upgraded already. Unfortunately, Richer Sounds appear to have got hold of a manual region change version which is not fully automatic. Mail UK now have the fully automatic region free version for the following LG machines:-
LG 2280 LG 2330P LG 3200E LG 6200E
