Page 1 of Toshiba sd210 and also 110e

i don`t want to sound silly but i have been thought this forum and other forums to find a region free crack for these two machine and have come to the conclusion that there is a disk that i can burn and upgrade the firmware for the 210 any way
could someone tell me am i right and also will the same disk do for the 110. these r for my friend dvd player and they would like to get region 1 disk to play..
can some one put me in the right direction please as i am about to pull my hair out

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND HAVE IT IN GOOD AUTHORITY THAT TOSHIBA PLAYERS CAN ONLY BE UPGRADED BY INSERTING SPECIAL CHIP AND CAN BE QUITE EXPENSIVE.

There is indeed a disc that can update the 220 and, I think, the 120.

think i know which one you mean m8 althought it was hard to find so that one will do then also how do i know that it will do for the firmware also how do i check the firmware???

Multi-Region:

Put DVD into player - wait for regional code violation screen to appear

Once this has occurred press the M (Memory) button on your remote

Press 1 for Title 1 and Play on the remote - this will over-ride the regional code violation detection menu

You can watch the movie by pressing Fwd on remote and change chapters by using the T (Title/Chapter) button on the remote)

sorry but the disk didn`t work on any dvd player
