I have a Dell DVD rom drive that has been locked to region 4 (after 5 changes).

Is there a way to lock this to region 0

Here are some of the markings on the drive fyi

Erm this depends on if the lock is due to software or not...

If it is software get DVD Genie: http://www.inmatrix.com/files/dvdgenie_download.shtml
This should let you change the region as many times as you like !

It it is hardware locked you need to unlock the drive by flashing its firmware ! Look at what the drive is called under my computer often drives are manufactured by other companies (Is it a Laptop ? may not be in this case) Anyhow you will have to locate a firmware for the drive and replace it. There are risks involved in this and if it goes wrong your drive may be unrecoverable!!!
