Nope, however if you get it chipped (which you will need to if you want to have it permanently multi-region without locking after 25 changes) then this usually includes a Macrovision disabling feature.

I have the 711 as well but haven`t found any way to disable the macrovision...YET

Now if I could only figure out what an SBU-880
remote is or the command programmed to its SAT
button. I think it is a universal remote made by philips sold in europe

I just asked Techtronics about the SBU-880 remote control and they told me that they don`t stock it! :( Anyone know where else I could get one from? Cheers.
