Has anyone got a hack for this player. I thought it was a brand new bit of kit, but it appears that a hack for it was requested in Sept 2002 so maybe its not so new :(

I`ve had mine for nearly 6 months and haven`t found a hack for it yet. There appear to be several clones around from Toshiba, Bush, Orion, Grundig so there`s still hope. Incidentally mine freezes when playing DVD-R`s and won`t play +R`s at all. VHS video playback isn`t brilliant either, so couldn`t really recommend it.

Hi. I thought this system was a new one but on looking back it appears not. Anyway it doesnt matter. I have found the VHS recordings ok, also the ability to record no copywrited CDs onto VHS is a useful function.
I really hope a hack is available soon as I have a few non region 2 DVDs and am unable to play them.
