Is it possible to play a region 1 dvd and record on viveo tape in COLOUR, I have a microvision box ....Thanks

really? you have a microvison box? is that connected to your viveo?
what about your Televusion? do you have an DTF omplifier? ;)

If it`s coming out in black and white, then it`s because of the R1 DVD being in NTSC rather than PAL format. Does your TV show the DVD in colour? If so, then it looks like the TV is able to display both PAL and NTSC signals, but your Video isn`t. You might be able to set your DVD player to convert from NTSC to PAL - have a look in the menus for an option which has PAL, NTSC and Auto - it will probably be set to Auto at the moment. Set it to PAL, and have another go.
