when it has used 25 changes what do it do do it let you enter the code because i think i might of but i`m not sure

No one knows as of yet, I mean have you changed the region code 25 times? Is your machine now locked into region 1/2 ????
Let me know. As I have one of these machines, although I`m not sure as to if the 25 change rule is in effect...

no i haven`t but i found a hack that resets the dvd player to factory defaults but it won`t unlock a locked system but it might reset you 25 changes if you ave used some its: press play 1 5 9 then you enter 004001000140 then play you should now be on region 2 again change it to which one you want.I know you won`t know if it has reset your changes so you have 25 again but its worth a go any way

How do you know this RESETS the changes though?
Where did you get this information, as I never heard this b4.

We have a factory reset code for one of the other Philips models up, and this DOES NOT reset the 25 changes.

I can confirm that the player locks after about 25 times. And that was 25 ATTEMPTS to change region. I did not succed once to change my Philips DVD711 bought in the US from region 1 to region 2. So if anybody has any information about resetting this, or making the player region free, I would be glad to hear about that.
