A mag said the Wharfedale hack doesn`t work on it`s latest copies of it`s DVD player. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

Its false afaik. Which mag is to blame for this nasty rumour btw? :-)

DVD Review was the offending mag as far as I can remember. But dont be too hard on them. I have read various mags about various machines and the difference is appalling. One mag says there is a hack the next one says there isnt, same with RGB and macrovision and how good or bad the machine is. The variance of reviews in the mags suggests to me that anyone wanting to buy a machine should get their info from other owners via forums like this one
