Page 1 of bush dvd2023 hack required

hi,does anyone know of a multi-region hack or a macro disable for the bush dvd2023 and does it convert ntsc to pal signal.any help would be a bonus as i am thinking of getting one from my local co-op £89.99.

Yeah, I too am looking for the hack for this gorgeous looking unit. One point of note though; BE WARNED......this unit will NOT play VCD`s.

I have the Bush 2023 and it does play VCD`s. Yes it does convert pal/ntsc. To play VCD`s insert the disk, when it says loading keep pressing the goto button on the remote until a drop down menu appears, (this may take a couple of attempts but it does work) if successful press the menu button then press play voila. This has to be done with all VCD disks. I phoned the Bush helpline and they gave me a code but it has so far been useless, they said switch machine off/on, open draw, press 1,8,9,2,6 then 2,8,9,2,6 then 3,8,9,2,6 and so on till you get to 9 i.e 9,8,9,2,6...load of crap I guess, that or I didi it wrong, anyhow you can always phone them and ask..hope this helps...:-) as far as macrovision is concerned I dont think this player supports it, I could be wrong. PS I only payed £78.99 through the littlewoods index extra catalogue if you wanna save a tenner

hey i just played a region one dvd without any problems...this might mean that the bush is region free...i.e. no hack required..try it and let me know

I own a alba dvd 108 player and reading through dvd reviewer that the bush 2023 is a similar model. I tryed the bush 2023 vcd hack, but it does not work.
Can you tell me exactly what bush told you to do and when you have entered 98926 then what do you press - eject, power off???????
I can play vcd`s play pressing the prog button on the remote as the disc is spinning, but I wondered if anyone knows if the bush hack will work on the alba 108.
