Ozzywozzy (Harmless) posted this on Monday, 21st February 2005, 20:21

Just wondered...
As I started the same time as a couple of friends and my gremlin is only a young adult, while all theres became In its prime today when we all started on the same evening...

Do some live longer than others?
Is it by type, or random when you create the gremlin? (or possibly osmething to do with stamina?)

It`s random (allegedly) - when your gremlin is created, it is given a lifespan of between 21 and 28 days.

They`re supposed to last at least 21 days, maybe you got caught by a bug in the program?

As stated, usually the minimum length of time they can last is 21 days, and the maximum is 28 days.

However...

...when we notice someone abusing our refer a friend feature to gain XP, by creating a load of email accounts and gremlins themselves, we have been known to sprinkle magic fairy dust on that person`s gremlin, and drastically shorten its life as a punishment. :)
