World Cup fantasy footy.HELP NEEDED
I need help on the sun fantasy football.Need to pick a team with £50 million.Sounds easier then it is.
RE: World Cup fantasy footy.HELP NEEDED
Here are a few bargains
GK Fabian Carini £3m (Fantastic young keeper, Made his name in the copa america, now plays for Juventus)
DF Alejandro Lembo £3m (As above, not sure who he plays for though)
DF Carlos Gamarra £4m (Quality experienced defender)
MD Hidetoshi Nakata £3m (His team may not do well but he will. Who knows with home support they may get through to the next stage)
MD Juan Sorin £4.5m (Great player who I`m tipping to be the star as well as joe cole)
MD Joe Cole £3.5m (read above)
ST Vincenzo Montella £5m (On fire at the moment)
Other tips
Zidane may be class but take into account that he will miss the first 2 games through injury
Do not buy Roy Keane for £5.5m :)
Kilbane is definetly not worth £5m and he does have the tendancy to get sent off alot
Masashi Nakayama can knock goals in like nothing and may do well if japan do well.
Portugal have the easiest group so you might want to buy someone who plays proffessional football for that country
All the best

here`s something to consider:
You get points for appearances in the later rounds...
So...Italy and Spain are in the top half of the draw...and England, Germany, Brazil and Argentina are all in the bottom half.
Italy are already banking on a place in the semis, so Italian players are likely to get good points, are are the Spanish.
As for the bottom half...some big teams are going home early...

Fantasy football - there`s not much skill to it, most of it is luck. Invariably the lesser known players will play well and score points or whatever. Same with big players being a disappointment.
I say go random :)
RE: World Cup fantasy footy.HELP NEEDED
You really need players from teams that are likely to progress, such as France, Italy and England. Also fancy the Irish players such as Damien Duff and Ian Harte (Always good for a goal from free kicks) Shay Given is on fire at the moment aswell!
