Title says it all.
I spoke to a Star Wars fan who insists that Qui Gon was heading for the dark side, hence his insistance on seeing Anakin trained, defying the council etc.
I argued the fact that Qui Gon saw that Anakin would bring, buy hook or by crook, balance to the force.
However, my friend argued that Qui Gon`s voice in Episode 2 is no coincidence.
Remember that his body did not disapear upon death as he was not at ease with the force.

Any other theorists out there ??

Where was this voice exactly in the film? I dont remember hearing it.. all I remember is dooku talking about how its a shame qui gon died he could use his help blah blah then he got his ASS kicked by yoda and ran off LOL

Qui Gon can be heard when Anakin is killing the Tusken Raiders.The shot closes and you see Yoda on his chair (meditating), and Qui Gon shouts "Anakin! Anakin!" Yoda then tells Mace Windu that great pain and suffering was being felt by Anakin. I believe there is more to the Qui Gon situation, and am sure that you will find out more in the next film. Lucas did say after Ep1 that you would find out why Qui Gon did not disappear, like Obi Wan and Yoda did once they died. Qui Gon was cremated at the end of Ep1, just as Vader was at the end of Jedi! a link perhaps?

so he`s telling him not to do it.... (and i should know... i`ve been to see it 5 times already!!)

Apart from the fact that I was dissappointed by the film, I also thought that Qui Gon would be in it as one of those ghosts like Obi Wan.

Wouldn`t the place become a little crowded if every dead Jedi turned into a ghost?

Anyway, Anakin/Vadar turned into a ghost at the end of Jedi - you see him with Ben and Yoda.

On another note, what age do you think Anakin turns into Vadar? I think its probably around 25, and he dies when he is about 50.

why didnt any of the jedis in the big battle disapear then?

Yeah I clearly heard Qui Gonns voice. Although he was clearly trying to make Annakin stop slaughtering the tusken raiders.

My theory was that Qui Gonn didn`t vanish because he was actually tempted by the dark side and purposely found Annakin at the emperors wishes. Although that wouldn`t explain Annakin appearing at the end of Jedi?

Perhaps theres something to do with the three Jedi (Obi-Wan, Yoda, Annakin) that make them different from usual. In my opinion its because these are the only three Jedi`s that survive the clone war.

Got a theory that Coruscant could eventually be developed into the first Death Star (although I think the planet is too big?). The reason I thought this was because not only is the planet one big city, but the clones are based there (who obviously become storm troopers). Also at the end on a fly by of the planet the lighting looks very much like the death stars planet destorying gun (if you know what I mean). Actually, Sounds like rubbish when I think about it.

I remember after the first movie there were still many people (clowns) who didnt believe that senator palpatine was Darth Sidious who was the emperor from episode 4 5 or 6.

even though the same actor played them both, and their voices sound almost identical:)

Qui Gon simply took annakin on because he was a rogue himself and because annikan had so much potential he should be trained and bring balance to the force.

Their is no evil involved, simply a plot was needed to bring annakin and obi wan together.

simple as that, stop trying to over complicate things you will end up looking foolish.

also Coruscant cant be turned into a death star as its in the last 3 novels.

its simple made from metal and is about 100 miles in diameter.

Sounded more and more stupid as I wrote about it anyway. Its true what you say about Qui Gonn too.
