I`ve just finished reading this book again and remembered that the BBC made this into a film but called it something else.

Can anyone remember what they called it?

Think the one you are looking for is "Z FOR ZACHARIAH" from the BBC `Play For Today` broadcast in 1984.

unless you know of another version that did have a different name.

I remember the book and film, although the only thing I remember of the film is the girl gets her baps out, hey at 13 these things are important :-)
