Protecting DVDs in storage (garage)
Does anyone have experience of storing their CDs/DVDs in a garage or shed? I'm not worried about organisation, just as long as the hot/cold conditions don't damage them. Is a good, old Poundstretcher box enough protection?

Thanks!

Extreme temperatures won't be good for their long term storage, they should be fine with damp (but the covers not so good!).
If your garage is going to swing below 3C or above 20C it's probably not the best for their long term health, unfortunately.
That said I have a load in the loft, they seem ok!

Wouldn't the paper incerts get damaged by moisture? I 'think' the brand Really Useful are airtight. They are expensive.

RE: Protecting DVDs in storage (garage)
I was looking at this. Not airtight, but no water can get in. Some reviews talk about storing books or papers in them. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ward-Litre-Storage-Trunk-Wheels/dp/B00UPEHMXY/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1531093485&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=airtight+storage+box&tag=myrev09-21
Just need some peace of mind!
