Page 1 of XBOX

I know there was a thread like this, but it contained mixed opinions and then branched off into a debate about Windows XP.

Therefore, I have decided to create this thread, so we can all reach a definite answer: is the Xbox any good?

I can get the console, plus "Halo" and a second (official) controller for £365, delivered in 1 business day. Is this is a good deal, and what other decent games are there, or are coming?

I might be interested in the following, so a rating on them would also be helpful:

The Simpsons Road Rage
Max Payne
James Bond: Agent Under Fire
Tony Hawk`s Pro Skater 3

i really do recommend getting one! i have been really impressed so far and for me it is the first `true` next generation of gaming. that deal is ok, but for an extra £20 you can get the same deal but with max payne, which is what i got. the extra controller included is according to x-gamer magazine the best 3rd party pad. i got my bundle from currys on 9 month interest free option. i can say firsthand that max payne i excellent, the same as the pc version. also from what ive heard simpsons and james bond are tosh and tony hawks a great conversion. additionally id recommend jet set radio which is awesome and obviously halo.

I have seen that £385 deal, but 3rd party pads are a bit dodgy, and I`m struggling to raise the £365!

Did you see that a little while ago Dabs.com advertised an XBOX super pack, w. console, memory card, extra controller and 3 games for £249!??!!?
Needless to say, it was an error, and they took it down pretty quickly, but they still HONOURED THE DEAL!! So some lucky sods have an Xbox plus stuff for less cash. Nice

as well as the ones iv ealready mentioned id get DOA3. avoid any of the star wars games, thyre crap!

Are there any decent footie games out for it yet / or any due? Have played pro evolution soccer on PS2 & it`s a corker. This is a big factor for me on which to buy.

iss2 is coming out very shortly, i think in time for the world cup. then theres always championship manager ;)
