Anyone had any freaky stuff happen while playing this film??
Every so often on my (Piece Of s***) Sampo I get weird juddering on the picture -this only happens in the daylight scenes - I thought maybe it was supposed to happen but saw it at the cinema last night and nope, not there!
And joy of joys, the picture on the DVD (bar juddering) is BETTER than the print I saw at Warner Bros cinema - oh smugness.
Yeah, lip sync is out on it as well - AARRGHHH!! Damn those swine at Total DVD for conning me into buying the machine.
Clayts? Have you tried it on your Encore? Any weird stuff?
Borrowed Final Destination (R2) off a mate, first R2 film to have lip sync probs on my Sampo - but the centre speaker delay sorted it.
Hi m8 the reason your getting aa jerky picture is because your playing an NTSC DVD on a PAL TV .Now if your tv can output a NTSC sinal then just set your DVD Player to auto signal set or you might have to do it manually. This happened to me on my Wharfedale DVD Player but once i set the TV signal up in the setup on my DVD Player then the jerkyness went away .
HHope this helps you out m8
I noticed that the lip sinc problems as well - on two diferent machines -
so it`s not just your Sampo. This was a region 1 disc lent from a friend.
I think there`s a lot of crap mastering out there - with no body actually
watching the finished product.
Cheer
