The new Levis ad
The one where the man and woman are running through the walls.
Has anyone any idea what the piece of music is or is it a comitioned piece like the Stiltskin "Inside" one?
All the best,
Andrew.
Dunno, but it`s a stunning ad!
I agree, it`s a stunning ad, read somewhere that the music used was an `existing` piece rather than anything specially commissioned, but can`t remember the name of the track.
the music is an arrangement of Handel`s `Sarabande` by John Altman. The ad is called, `Odyssey`, directed by Jonathan Glazer, special effects by CFC and Framestore.

RE: The new Levis ad
Thank you.
All the best,
Andrew.
That`s strange - I`ve been told it`s by Beethoven and it`s his 7th Symphony 2nd Movement
According to Campaign and Levi`s, it`s Handel`s `Sarabande` by John Altman...
Just saw this ad... thankfully it was the short version. At least Glazer has gone back to doing what he does best: nihilistic effects-driven commercials for trans-national corporations, after smothering us with the aledgedly `amazing` `Sexy Beast`, which is actually as dull as ditch-water. Oh well, who cares... it certainly doesn`t make me want to go out and buy jeans. Mind you, not much does.

RE: The new Levis ad
First of all let me thank all for the responce.
The piece is Handel`s Sarabande. And after a couple of attempts I now have a version that sounds good to me (this clasical music stuff is hard work) It is on Stanley Kubrick`s "Barry Lydon" OST and is by the National Philarmonic Orchestra.
All the best,
Andrew.
