Page 1 of Anyone see Gameswipe last night?

Latest Charlie Brooker thing, was on last night and is being repeated several times. Very humorous look at the games industry, complete with a snooty Kermode having a go at gaming in one segment. Also had a clip of Sky One`s Gamesworld, which was pretty much my favourite after-school TV show when I was a kid.

I recorded it but haven`t watched it, I mentioned it in the gaming tv show thread

Yep, he was in the Big Boy Barry spin-off as well, playing that effeminate type (surprise, surprise).

It was okay, I prefer angry video game nerd on Youtube.

I watch AVGN (formerly ANN), but while he`s funny I don`t find him as amusing as Mr. Brooker.

Dara O` Briain was really funny about his frustrations on playing Guitar Hero, and that war game.

I get the feeling Brooker hates the Wii.

What I couldn`t believe is that the advertisers got Morcambe and Wise to promote the Atari 2600, I must have seen the advert when I was a kid, I can only remember adverts such as Spectrums, and Commodores, and other personal computers being advertised at the time.

Unbelievably, one of his best mates is that Orla (sp) off Big Brother. :/
He also clearly had the hots for Victoria Coren (which he can hardly be blamed for).
