I`m off from my main job from Tuesday - Sunday... woohoo...

"working" Xmas eve (as much as anyone here actually works on that day). The stock exchanges close at 12pm so that`s pretty much it for most people.

Then I`m not back at work till Jan 5th.

Hoping you get paid well for those hours Doc

I`m off 25th/26th and 31st/1st.
Usual `2 and 2`.
New year can go stuff itself, I`d rather work.
Goes against the cliched `hogmanay scotsman` image, but 99% of my friends/colleagues are the same.

7am - 7pm Christmas Eve and then back in at 7am on New Year`s Day. First time I have had the full week off for ages.

Yes, Hogmanay can go poke itself. Can go out on the lash any night. Although many women seem to lose their self respect at Hogmanay so I enjoyed that aspect when I was single.

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

Well after working every day over Xmas the past 2 years barring Christmas Day, decided to have some time off, so finishing on Fri and not working again till Jan 5th. At least that`s the plan, need a break
