Anyone here any good at drawing?

Basically, as a little project, I`m looking to self-publish a children`s book. Only 10 - 15 pages long, I`ve got a concept in mind (and off the top of my head, though it seems quite simple I can`t name another book with the same sort of idea), but I`m crap at drawing. Doesn`t matter if you do it on comp or by hand, I`m after quite simple pictures (and by simple I mean minimal detail with basic colours, not stick men).

Anyone up for the challenge? I don`t expect it to be profitable, just want to be able to say I`ve done it - though I would market it to the max where possible if I thought it`d be any good.

The idea I`ve got is pretty expandable, so I might not stop at just the one.

Cheers for reading...

I used to draw cartoon`s back in the days when I was a college student. I used to draw cartoon`s of teachers and make up stories. They were reminiscent of The Beano and The Dandy. It took me ages though to actually draw a whole comic strip and when the college got hold of them they wanted me to make more!? It came to a point where I had to give it up as my course work was suffering as a result!

As I say that was years a go. I haven`t drawn in a while now so have probably lost the skill. Is it like riding a bike? Do you ever forget it? I`ll have to give it a go again soon..... 8)

James has artistic leanings in music, graphic`s & art.

He likes doing "manga" style but also likes to diversify, he has a samples of his work on his computer, which could be compiled into a portfolio.

He has done a graphic full colour "popup" childrens book as part of his coursework, if your interested pm me or Rass.
