Page 1 of Macrovision-anyone know where I can buy kit

or scart leads to defeat this as my tv has no scart socket I have to use my video, which tends not to like macrovision protected dvd`s!

My Cousin got the Mac Master from Sonel does not seem to work with Region 1 DVD`s though.He bought a phono adaptor from them(He has a region one player which he has connected with a multi system TV)_but both he and I cannot seem to get it to work through his NTSC playback Video I have told him that it should at least be able to disable the Macrovision even though the playback maybe in b/w but the Macrovision is still there

They do a powered scart lead for £30 that is designed for connecting DVD players without component sockets to projector TVs. Apparently it can also be used to copy DVDs to video without any pocture problems.

Sorry about that - it`s on page 9 of the new January to March 2002 catalogue - I assumed it would be available online but after entering the product code apparently it`s not!!

Maybe you could ring them on 0870 908 7002 and get them to send you a catalogue.

The product number is ML6442 and it`s called the Macro Master.

I have heard many bad reports like this one, about Macmaster & wondered if anyone can give a definitive answer to the question:-Do they work or not?!!! Marks out of ten? Reviews?

i had the same problem with phono cables. i got my connecter from the following site and it has not let me down in the 18 months that i`ve had it, plus the delivery is very quick. www.lektropacks.co.uk/acatalog/stab-1.htm . can`t beat it for value ;-)
