Gluten free beer.....Where can you get this stuff?

yabba dabba (Elite) posted this on Thursday, 4th October 2007, 12:16

Have a family member who is on a gluten and wheat free diet (not by choice) and asked me about gluten free lager that he saw in a Sainsburys advert in the paper, But i couldn`t see any in store.

Does anyone know where they sell this stuff?

In tescos its around the `specialist` beers. The bottles of Baltik, Singha and all that caper, so thats probably where it is in tescos.

My S-I-L is Gluten Free and, according to the manager, when we were looking for some chocolate, they have started distributing the GF stuff around the shop, integrating it with `normal` food.

So the GF beans, fo example are in with the normal beans, rather than the specialist GF section, which is why you may not have found it.

He, basically, admitted as much as saying that they are selling more GF food, so making people hunt for it increases incidental purchases.
