Not looking to pry or anything like that (please feel free to keep it anonymous if you think it is too personal) but I was reading the Financial Discussion page over at DVDForums and was surprised at how may people there reckon to be earning £70k and above so I thought I would check out the DVDReviewer financial demographic.

Woah - an interesting Poll! At the risk of being all serious and financial, wouldn`t it also be interesting to see what people`s houses are worth, and how much their mortgages are?! :D

Perhaps at the lower end, but where in the country do you live Ogster? Location has an enourmous bearing on things.

Hell,I don`t mind. Mortgage of £120K(more than I`d like,I grant you) and current house worth about £340K. I`m not done moving yet though,no way.

I`m not shy either, I earn approx £30k plus all expenses paid from work, approx £5k from odd jobs. TOH is on £12k
Our mortgage is £150k, house was worth £170k when we bought it last year (very run down) estimate it is worth about £200-220k now (average price for 3 bed semi in North Cardiff) after 14 months of hard labour and swearing.

Salary about £65k, house about £850K (paid £213k for it, couldn`t afford it now). Won`t be moving again.
Not saying what I earn as it depends on how the shop is doing. If it is s***e, then nothing.
One house paid for. Paid about £40k for it. At last count it would have been around £130k My flat I owe about £100K on. Was £152k, I have no idea what it is worth now.
