a friend of mine said you can hook up a dvd player using a tv card using a composite signal and record dvd onto hdrive then back onto cdr in a form of vcd i know its piracy on all that but does anyone know a decent software that will do this many thanks!

it can be done and much simpler than you described but as it is against the forum I am not gonna tell you how
